PBS was founded by Robert Gold, a bartender himself since 1987, who noticed that there was a complete lack of qualified bartenders available to work the many large and small parties and events in the Washington area.

If you ask caterers, party planners, hotels and even home hosts, there has never been a service that consistently provides qualified professionally trained bartenders.  This is why PBS was founded. Having been so successful with our bartending services, our clients have requested that we provide the same caliber staff for food service too.
